When you have a deadline for purchasing gifts, you should never just -assume- you'll get your order in time.
Order well in advance to avoid all possible delays:
- The company you're ordering from could be under a backlog and have a number of other customers doing the same thing you are (ordering late and expecting receipt immediately), thereby slowing the entire process down.
- If ordering internationally, the parcel could be stopped at customs inspections and delayed.
- The delivery personnel in your area could get lazy and slack on their deliveries, thereby delaying your package.
Basically, there's a plethora of possibilities that could occur unexpectedly, resulting in late delivery of your order; long after you need it.
Our recommendation is to order at least one month prior to your deadline date, to ensure the items are received safe and sound, long before you actually need them.
